POLL RESULTS: Top Three Exercises?

old school bodybuilder Franco Columbu

It's taken me a while, but I finally tallied the results from the fourteen responses to a previous survey question. Only fourteen? Yes. But thanks to those who submitted answers. It required more than simply checking a box next to a multiple choice. Click here to see the original post.

What are the top three exercises?
  1. Deadlift (7)
  2. Pullups (5)
  3. Shoulder/Push Press (4)
  4. MuscleUp, Squat, Turkish GetUp, Pushups, Burpees (3)
  5. SDLHP, Clean & Jerk, Thrusters, Farmers Walk, Dips, Snatch, Running, Reverse Burpee, Hanging Burpee (1).

My personal votes went to: Snatch, TGU, and MU.

I know this isn't super scientific. There are plenty of hairs to be split. For example, there were submissions of MuscleUps, as well the sub-components of Pullups and Dips. Likewise, there were Thrusters, as well as Squats and Shoulder/Push Press. Instead of inspecting and arguing the details, take a look at what some functional fitness folks believe to be important movements in their programs. If you aren't doing them, maybe you should....

If you have any others that need inclusion, please add them in comments.
